Movement Means
Movement Means are all about changing your location in space. The combatant who focuses on Movement is attempting to be where the enemy is not expecting. Rather than worry about protecting the body with armor, these characters worry about getting the body out of the way. Movement Means use Agility Measure to activate.
Level 1 — Dance Training Add Agility rank to Vigor rank when determining your Vitality.
Level 1 — Flow (requires Dance Training): Whenever you Disengage, you may move double your movement distance. You are not just stepping back; you are repositioning across the battlefield.
Level 3 — Dodge (requires Flow) In response to an attack against you, you may spend 1 Action to avoid the full force of the attack, turning a Hit into a Complication or a Complication into a Miss. If you choose to Dodge, you begin your next turn with only 1 Action, unless a Means says otherwise. You cannot turn a Miss into a Fumble, nor can you Dodge a Rule of 7.
Level 6 — Like the Wind (requires Dodge): If you successfully Dodge an attack, you may Reposition immediately without opening yourself to an Opportunity Attack. You aren't just dodging; you’re moving into a better position while the enemy is recovering from their Complication/Miss.
