Window

The target numbers that players are hoping to roll inside are called your window. The base window starts at 7 for everyone.

Windows always open in the following sequence
7
6-7
6-8
5-8
5-9
4-9
4-10
3-10
3-11

The idea is that 7 is always centered and +1s are always adding just 1 number to the window.

No window can widen more than 3-11. The widest window most characters will experience, barring major circumstantial bonuses and skill trees, is 5-8.
