Strength-Based Combat
#means #strength
Strength-Based Combat is about breaking structure. The strength fighter doesn't wait for openings — they create them through force, pressure, and attrition. Techniques build on each other: destabilize, compound the instability, exploit the breakdown.
Level 1 — Weapon Training Entry Means. You are proficient with Strength-based weapons. Apply Strength bonus to attack windows. Standard attacks deal weapon damage.
Level 2 — Overpower On a clean hit: damage + Off-Balance. Raw force disrupts the target's footing and guard.
Level 2 — Power Throw (branch, thrown weapons only) On a clean hit: damage + Pressured. Impact shock interrupts the target's next action.
Level 3 — Batter (requires Overpower) On a clean hit against an Off-Balance target: damage + Exposed. Compounded instability collapses their guard entirely.
Level 3 — Sweep (requires Overpower) 2 actions. Attack up to two adjacent targets. Clean hit on each: 1 damage + Off-Balance.
Level 4 — Ground and Pound (requires Batter) On a clean hit against an Exposed target: damage + Prone.
